REMUS BABE RUTH RESERVE RETURNS FOR 2025

Remus Bourbon is calling its shot once again.

The team at Ross & Squibb Distillery has brought back one of the most collectible releases in recent memory with the 2025 edition of Remus Babe Ruth Reserve — a high-rye bourbon release that pays tribute to one of the most legendary figures in American sports history: George Herman “Babe” Ruth.

And make no mistake, this isn’t just a whiskey — it’s a celebration of history, craft, and America’s two greatest pastimes: baseball and bourbon!

This year’s edition takes its inspiration from the Babe’s iconic #3 jersey, blending a medley of three mash bills: 44% rye, 49% rye, and 36% rye bourbons, pulled from hand-selected barrels distilled in 2016 and 2017. The result? A complex, full-bodied pour that hits for both power and average. Bottled at a robust 111 proof (55.5% ABV), it opens with warm notes of brown sugar, cinnamon, and fig, rolls into layers of nutmeg and toasted marshmallow, and finishes with a satisfying close of oak, leather, & baking spice.

Only 8,399 bottles are being released — one for every at-bat the Babe ever took — making this as much a collector’s piece as it is a bottle to be savored. Each release is packaged in a striking art deco-inspired bottle, complete with an embossed baseball-diamond pattern, pinstriped labels, Ruth’s unmistakable signature, and a baseball bat-inspired cork. And in a nod to both whiskey nerds and statheads alike, each bottle features a QR code allowing fans to see exactly what Ruth did in the game matching their bottle’s at-bat.

The 2025 Remus Babe Ruth Reserve will be landing on select retail shelves this month with a suggested retail price of $149.99. But like a Ruth home run, expect it to go fast.
