A Decade in the Barrel: Starlight Distillery Releases 10-Year Bourbon That’s Worth the Wait

ree

When you talk to someone from Starlight Distillery, you don’t hear buzzwords or marketing spin—you hear family, farming, and fierce devotion to doing things the right way, no matter how long it takes. And this July, that ethos takes shape in a bottle.

Introducing Starlight’s 10-Year Bourbon—a decade-long labor of love and the first of its kind from this Southern Indiana distillery that sits tucked into the rolling hills of Huber’s Orchard & Winery. It’s not just a whiskey. It’s a legacy in liquid form.

Born from estate-grown grains and forged in copper pot stills on the Huber family farm, this limited release is a masterclass in “grain-to-glass” authenticity. The Huber family didn’t cut corners. They didn’t rush it. They put the bourbon to sleep in Seguin Moreau Icône barrels from Napa Valley and let time do its thing in Warehouse 2’s West Side—the hottest corner of their rickhouses, where whiskey earns its stripes.

The result? A bottle that drinks like a story—layered with dark caramel, toasted oak, orchard fruit, and that slow-building spice that reminds you good things take time. Each barrel was personally hand-picked by the Huber family, bottled at its peak, and released in extremely limited numbers.

Christian Huber, 7th-generation distiller, summed it up best:

“This isn’t just another bourbon—it’s a reflection of our family’s legacy and the land we’ve farmed for over 180 years. It’s a moment of reverence in a glass.”

You’ll get your shot to experience this rare pour on July 26th, 2025, when the distillery opens its doors for a one-day-only public release event. Want to meet the makers? Sip this once-in-a-decade bourbon where it was born? Now’s your chance.

Bourbon fans, mark your calendars. This isn’t just another release—it’s a celebration of craft, patience, and a family’s unwavering belief in the long game.

Where to Get It:📍 Starlight Distillery – 19816 Huber Road, Borden, IN📅 Saturday, July 26th – Event begins at 10AM
